Poem for August 7, 2017
[Lunar Eclipse in Aquarius]
your fountain
spouts remedies
for humanity's
dry mouth.
they bow
at trees, headstones, nests -
restless, faceless,
egos outstretched.
the light you make
breaks you - splices you
like diamonds cutting coal.
your shards
are stars
for crows.
they form you
like monks
blowing sand - from mess
to mandala - lit
by blood.
the light you emit
splits you - shadow
cuts, bombing bones -
excruciating
for a caged soul.
but you're a mosaic -
moonlight spit, rigid guts,
(guns for hands, hands for guns)
devi lips, glass brains - everything
gods love and hate,
create and recreate.
your fountain
spouts remedies
for humanity's
dry mouth.
they bow
at trees, headstones, nests -
restless, faceless,
egos outstretched.
the light you make
breaks you - splices you
like diamonds cutting coal.
your shards
are stars
for crows.
they form you
like monks
blowing sand - from mess
to mandala - lit
by blood.
the light you emit
splits you - shadow
cuts, bombing bones -
excruciating
for a caged soul.
but you're a mosaic -
moonlight spit, rigid guts,
(guns for hands, hands for guns)
devi lips, glass brains - everything
gods love and hate,
create and recreate.
